What are Meta's Muse Wonder models?
They are a new series of Meta AI models built on its earlier Muse Spark model. Meta said in a newsroom post published at about 1:08 p.m. ET on Monday that the models "deliver state-of-the-art performance on personal and professional agentic tasks."
Meta said the models are aimed at expert work in law, finance and health, along with coding. It described two features:
- Active Memory: the ability to carry relevant details across conversations.
- Active Focus: the ability to keep working toward a goal when a task gets hard, recover from errors and check in before doing anything important.
Barron's reported that Meta says the Muse Wonder models perform on par with leading competitors on public benchmarks.
Who can use Muse Wonder?
Developers can use it now. Muse Wonder is available through the Meta Model API and Muse Code, and it will soon power more of Meta's Muse assistant, rolling out first to subscribers, the company said. Meta said a full report with more safety evaluations will be published soon.
Meta said it trained the models to avoid sharing private information without permission and to turn down requests to help with harmful acts. It said it releases its most capable models under its Meta Superintelligence Scaling Framework.
